Euro&Promos has chosen to contribute to the “Guaranteed Mobility” project promoted by the Istituto Rodigino di Assistenza Sociale (IRAS).
The project, sponsored by the Municipality of Rovigo, provides accompanying services for people with motor difficulties.
The sponsorship contributed to the purchase and fitting out of a Fiat Doblò vehicle, specially equipped for transporting disabled and elderly people with mobility problems, a vehicle of fundamental importance as it will enable the IRAS institute to continue and improve its service to disadvantaged or disabled people.
Considering the high demand for transport to hospitals, treatment centres for examinations and rehabilitation, often concentrated in the same time slots of the day, it is increasingly necessary to have a greater number of vehicles in order to be able to satisfy all the numerous requests from people who also need to travel a long distance to reach hospitals or to develop important socialisation projects that can really bring many smiles to young people, children and the elderly with physical, mental, social and family problems.
