Many job opportunities in the facility management sector


 

The facility management sector is a market that employs more than half a million people in Italy and has a turnover of more than EUR 20 billion.

The pandemic and the Covid19 emergency have overturned the behavioural habits of Italians, who have re-evaluated the function and social importance of cleaning and sanitising activities, seen as preventive measures. Cleaning activities, if carried out professionally, reduce the possibility of contagion.

The concept of these services has therefore changed: today it is citizens and company employees who are asking for new and greater guarantees. Awareness of cleanliness has grown and, suddenly, we have found ourselves having to provide efficient responses to all economic sectors, primarily in terms of disinfection and hygiene.

The sector is therefore growing and, as a result, specific skills and expertise are in demand on the labour market.

Euro&Promos is one of the leaders in the sector that is doing the most to find staff. The company has offices, operating units and sites throughout Italy and employs over 5,000 people.

The services provided by Euro&Promos include not only civil, industrial and sanitary cleaning, but also warehouse logistics, porterage, industrial and mechanical maintenance, pest control, industrial laundry, as well as cultural management, porterage, unarmed security and office management.

Euro&Promos is currently looking for more than 50 professionals throughout Italy. Cleaning and sanitation workers, warehouse workers, forklift truck drivers, maintenance staff and librarians are the professionals most in demand, in addition to those working in the offices.

In a six-month period the company has collected almost 7000 CVs, processing over 70% of those received, and has hired over 300 people. But the search continues.
